Helping People Change

Do you feel a tug on your heart to help people with the struggles they are facing? Do you find yourself wishing that you had the right answers to give, or the right counsel to share with the hurting, burdened and discouraged? Do you often ask the question, "what does the Bible have to say about this? or "Does the Bible give any guidance on the issue I am facing?"

Well, God has called us all to care for one another by being an encouragement, a comforst, a godly counsel and faithful ministers of His Word. He has created us and tooled us with the neccessary equipment to provide that kind of care.

Walking Through The Valley

"Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for thou art with me." Psalm 23:4

From the finality of death to the depression of any loss, everyone will experience grief at some point in this life. The question is how will we navigate the tricky pathway through "the valley of the shadow"?

Perhaps you've experienced:

  • The death of a loved one
  • The end of a relationship
  • The loss of a job
  • Deteriorating health
  • Dashed dream

Listen and reflect through God's Word to help find some practical applications while wrestling with the answers to tough questions.

Taking A Backseat - teens, parents, and sexuality

Swirling all around that is the culture’s obsession with all things sexual, from pornography on the internet to explicit video games to low lights and soft music. Listen to an informative time of discussing the current challenges, pressures and traps which seem to conspire against God’s plan for our teens’ sexual lives. Reverend Parent - Leading Spiritually In Your Home

Your pulpit might be the toughest one on the planet. The eternal lives of children depend on it, so the pressure is immense. Worse, you’re not trained to do this! Your message better be great, fun and inspiring or else it will be hard to get them back in the pew the next time…

Being the spiritual leader in your home is a difficult challenge for anyone (including those with advanced seminary degrees), but their most important spiritual guide IS you, Reverend Parent. Leading your own “congregation” to a closer walk with God can feel intimidating, especially in today’s hectic society. It’s hard enough to have your own quiet time, let alone try to orchestrate a family devotion. And spiritual leadership is more involved than that.

Listen as we’ll share ideas to help get your “home church” off the ground.
